20092009 APRAA Yard Tour
Don’t forget that the 2009 Automotive Parts Recyclers Association of Australia (APRAA) Yard Tour is not far away...
The bi-annual APRAA Yard tours give recyclers from all over Australia an ideal opportunity to come together, socialise, communicate and network so to boost the growth of their businesses and further the industry as a whole. The 2009 event is being hosted by the Automotive Parts Recyclers Association of Western Australia, in the port city of Fremantle, over the weekend of the 13-15 November 2009.
All auto parts recyclers and industry stakeholders are encouraged to attend this major auto recycling event which coincides with 2009 National Recycling Week.
To kick the event off there will be an Industry Dinner on Friday night, presented by ASV Euro Auto Parts. The centrepiece of the weekend takes place on Saturday 14 November - a bus tour of 4 automotive recycling businesses in the Perth metropolitan area, featuring Wanneroo 4WD Wreckers, Tony’ s Auto Wreckers, JTW Auto parts and Mitsubishi Auto Wreckers, incorporating a trade show and lunch presented by MTAA Super Fund. Following the tour there will be a barbeque dinner and drinks on the Saturday evening, presented by the Parts Locator Group, with a casual farewell breakfast on the Sunday.

The 2009 Yard Tour events are being held at the Esplanade Hotel located on Essex Street in Fremantle. The Hotel will be providing accommodation at special rates for yard tour attendees. Further details will be in the registration pack; which will be available shortly.

20082008 Automotive Recyclers International Round Table Meeting
The automotive recycling international industry has successfully held its 4th annual International Round Table (IRT) Meeting in Australia, on 9-10 November, hosted by the Auto Parts Recyclers Association of Australia (APRAA) in conjunction with the Motor Trades Association of Australia (MTAA). Attached is a copy of the communiqué compiled by the various international associations at the close of the meeting.
