Who We Are

The Auto Parts Recyclers Association of Australia (APRAA) is an Affiliated Trade Association of the Australian Motor Industry Federation. APRAA represents auto parts recyclers on national issues.

The APRAA Executive Committee comprises a Delegate from each of the state Federation Member bodies.

What We Do

APRAA provides educational, regulatory and industry information as well as other services to its membership in an effort to facilitate continued education, growth and development of the auto parts recycling industry. APRAA is the peak, national association serving the Auto Parts Recycling sector in Australia.

APRAA is also an affiliate chapter of the international Automotive Recyclers Association (ARA), based in the USA and is a participant in the International Round Table on Auto Recycling.

How YOU can Support APRAA

If you buy recycled automotive parts:

• Simply ask the businesses you deal with “Are you a member of APRAA?” and look for the APRAA logo whenever you are looking to buy recycled parts.

If you are an Auto Parts Recycler/Dismantler :

• You can join your State Motor Trade Association (MTA) or Chamber of Commerce (VACC) Recycler Dismantler Division as a member and get involved in the future of your industry!

 If you are a supplier or organisation involved in the Automotive Recycling industry:

• Join your State MTA or Chamber of Commerce  as an association or general member category (if one exists)
or

• Consider advertising, exhibitor or sponsorship opportunities to support APRAA activities or events.
